Jae Escoto is a Filipino trans man with over a decade of experience in spoken word performance and competition. He holds a MA in Women’s Studies and has used his poetry as a vehicle for discussions around identity, social justice, and the healing impact of poetry for underrepresented groups. His forthcoming collections of poems “The Woman Inside of Me” will be published by Capturing Fire Press in in the Summer of 2019.
