Evander Wilson is queer and not quiet. They represented the Providence Poetry Slam Team at the Brave New Voices International Poetry Slam Festival in 2015 and is a coach for the 2017 team. Evander is also a memeber of the 2017 ProvSlam National Poetry Slam Team. Their work has served as a vehicle to start discussions on the intersectionality of queerness and mental illness at colleges, universities, and community organizations throughout New England.
